About the Charter and the Role Insight is an end-to-end managed real time data processing platform designed to unify and aggregate opaque, distributed data sources across Amazon Prime benefits, making real-time data easily accessible through low-latency APIs. The platform ingests near real-time event streams, processes and enriches raw data, and provides pre-computed datasets with aggregations to enable business and technology teams to make data-driven decisions without the overhead of native computation or complex multi-source queries. Insight powers critical Prime use cases including value communication on customer-facing experiences, member retention programs and subscription management. By prioritizing data integrity, freshness, security, and ease-of-use, Insight reduces project overhead costs and enables clients to access curated real-time signals for targeted customer journeys—such as messaging customers based on their latest Prime Video usage or purchase history. The platform currently serves ~25 active clients across US, EU, and FE regions and delivering 5 million notifications daily. As a Software Development Manager, you will independently lead a team of software engineers to deliver technology solutions that power the Insight platform.
