What They're Looking For.
Must Have
7+ years of engineering experience, 3+ years of engineering team management, 8+ years of leading multi tier web services development, Knowledge of engineering practices for full SDLC, Experience partnering with product or program management teams, Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent
Nice to Have
Experience communicating with users, technical teams, and senior leadership, Experience recruiting, hiring, mentoring/coaching and managing teams

About the Opportunity: Value Added Services (VAS) team (Also popularly known as Amazon Home Services (AHS)) in Hyderabad, India is building a WW Services platform which enables Amazon to seamlessly integrate professional services (including home improvement, installation, maintenance, and lifestyle services) with product purchases. We're building a first-of-its-kind ecosystem that connects qualified service professionals with customers while maintaining the highest standards of trust, safety, and customer satisfaction. Ideal Background: 1. Proven track record of leading complex technical initiatives and engineering teams 2. Deep expertise in distributed systems, cloud architecture, and scalable platforms 3. Experience with marketplace, fulfillment, or on-demand service platforms 4. Good business acumen and ability to translate strategic goals into technical solutions 5.
