Our Anti-DDoS (Distributed Denial of Services) team, known as AWS Shield, is the first line of defense against DDoS threats worldwide, protecting all Amazon and AWS customers and services. Our architecture must be highly scalable, performant, and continually evolve against threats as they emerge. We aim to be fast, precise, and provide complete protection for all AWS services and customers. The AWS Shield Response Team is looking for a Software Development Manager to help us build new services and improve our existing services for internal and external customers. You will work closely with other teams including Threat Research, Security, Operations, Networking, and Product to identify opportunities to launch new features and continually improve our defenses against DDoS events. In this role, you will lead part of the AWS Shield team which is responsible for developing scalable incident triage systems that protect customers and services from DDoS events.
