We are looking for an experienced Software Development Manager to lead the Vendor Funding Booking team in building GenAI-powered solutions that directly fuel Amazon's profitability and growth. You'll own a high-throughput software stack contributing billions of dollars monthly to Amazon's bottom line—driving vision, strategy, and full development lifecycle for Finance and Accounting platforms that serve Vendor Managers, Amazon Retail, internal Finance and Accounting teams. Leading a strong team of engineers, you'll deliver high-visibility projects at the intersection of generative AI and large-scale financial systems, shaping how Amazon partners with its vendors at global scale. We are looking for people who innovate and love solving hard problems. Our engineering teams are top-notch in the industry, who work hard, have fun, and make history. The Vendor Funding team creates the systems to drive costs lower. Given the rapid growth of our business we apply innovative technology to complex business problems. Basic Qualifications: - 3+ years of engineering team management experience - 7+ years of working directly within engineering teams experience - 3+ years of designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience - 8+ years of leading the definition and development of multi tier web services experience - Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and livesite operations - Experience partnering with pro
