Full Job Description

We are seeking a talented engineering leader with strong technical and management background to join Merch on Demand and lead the team that powers how content creators build businesses and how sports teams outfit their players on Amazon. In this role, you will own the technology behind the Merch Portal — the entry point for hundreds of thousands of content creators who publish millions of products daily — and Kit Your Team, a fast-growing program that lets coaches and team organizers create branded team stores with custom gear in minutes. You will drive the expansion of Kit Your Team into the uniform sports market while continuing to evolve the creator experience that generates over $100M in annual royalties. Merch on Demand is a rapidly expanding Amazon business that provides a make-on-demand service for creating, publishing, promoting, and selling graphic merchandise such as t-shirts, hoodies, PopSockets, phone cases, tumblers, and more. Since launching in 2015, we have scaled across the US, EU-5, and Japan. Our Kit Your Team program is opening an entirely new market: a coach uploads a team logo, AI extracts team colors and generates a complete store with jerseys and spirit wear, the coach imports a roster from phone contacts, and one shared link lets each player's family personalize and purchase with Prime shipping. We are scaling this experience to serve schools, leagues, and national sports organizations. As a Software Development Manager, you will lead a team of engineers across four product areas. You will own the complete lifecycle of the creator experience from onboarding through royalty payments, the team organizer experience from store creation through partner integrations, and the operational tooling that supports Merch business operations. Your team consumes the Modify customization services owned by the Merch Customizable Experience team, and you will be responsible for the coordination model between the two teams. You will partner with Product, Busine
