Full Job Description
We are looking for a tenured Software Development Manager to lead our Amazon Payments initiatives across multiple geographies. This is a mission-critical role driving innovation, scale, and compliance for Amazon Payments. Key job responsibilities * Lead high-performing engineering teams delivering reliable, highly available software for critical and complex systems. * Partner with Product Managers and global stakeholders to define strategy and roadmap. * Drive architecture and design decisions that shape Amazon’s Payments backbone. * Integrate GenAI and predictive analytics to simplify reconciliations, automate workflows, and enable proactive risk management. * Hire, coach, and grow talent while instilling a culture of innovation, accountability, and high standards. About the team The Amazon Payments team is responsible for developing the platform and applications used to introduce new and innovative payment methods to customers as well as support Amazon’s global Co Branded and Private label credit cards along with the world’s largest rewards catalog, Shop with Points.
