The CloudTune team within Amazon's Intelligent Cloud Control organization is looking for a passionate, inventive, and influential technical leader to define and drive technical development for SDO's scaling and infrastructure spend planning software. Our primary goal is to invent new software systems that remove human decision-making from SDO's scaling and cost controllership processes. We envision CloudTune solutions driving end-to-end automation that provisions Amazon's services appropriately for a great customer experience, while optimizing for availability and cost. Your products will drive responsible decision-making for Amazon's retail website and mobile clients, Amazon's Alexa infrastructure, digital device support, Prime Video and more. You will work closely with CloudTune's team of scientists who issue traffic and order forecasts, and capacity management teams that negotiate Amazon's retail compute capacity needs with AWS. Your role will be to build the automation, processes and systems that support the majority of Amazon's retail business' growth cost effectively. This role has a very broad impact with high influence.
