Join Amazon Robotics and lead the development of infrastructure technology that powers automation across Amazon's fulfillment operations globally. In this role, you'll manage teams building edge and cloud services that enable seamless integration and coordination of robotics and smart devices at scale. As a Software Development Manager on the Workcell Infrastructure Services team in Toronto, you'll oversee the development of critical systems that control and operate robotic equipment across our facilities. Your day involves collaborating with engineering teams to design and implement solutions for edge networking, cloud configuration services, and hardware integration. You'll participate in technical discussions about system architecture, review code and design selections with your team, and work cross-functionally with other technical groups to ensure our services meet the needs of teams building flexible and resilient robotic systems. You'll also spend time mentoring engineers, identifying growth opportunities, and fostering an environment where your team can do their best work. We are a collaborative group of engineers and technical guides passionate about applying advances in robotics and software to solve real-world problems. Our team builds the foundational technology that allows Amazon to quickly and efficiently integrate, control, and operate all types of robotics and machine automation equipment.
