Amazon Global Logistics is seeking a Software Development Manager to solve deep technical problems and build innovative solutions in a fast paced environment working with smart, passionate software developers and product managers. This is an opportunity to define, build, and deliver projects that have direct technical, product and business impact on Amazon. This role will give you an opportunity to work with many different teams and learn a range of new systems, leveraging the deep collection of technologies throughout the company and extending them to allow us to boldly go where no other company has gone before in the logistics industry. This is a great position for someone who can easily scale up and down their thinking architecturally to bring customer-centric solutions to market by intellectual leadership and influence on technology, product and business teams. You will be leading a significant piece of Transportation technology and will work on some of the initiatives planned to support our rapid evolution and growth of the network and solve some of the most challenging problems. You will regularly interact with Senior Leadership across the company and will be overall responsible for driving the technology vision and roadmap for services owned. We are looking for Software Development Managers who are passionate about conceptualizing, building and operating massively scalable systems. You will be leading some of the smartest engineering teams and will be responsible for driving best practices and continuous improvements in operational and engineering excellence.
