The Algorithms team is responsible for developing algorithms & building infrastructure to host Science models that improves reading experience. We work across the diverse Kindle Technologies & latest Science technologies across teams to deliver the delighting experience for our customers on time. We look at optimizations for builders (engineers) in the software development lifecycle is and bring positive impact to large engineering community. We own the E2E systems from the Algorithms, Model building, System Infrastructure, Dashboards for Author/Publishers, Data stores for Quality issues, Testing Team & maintenance of the same. We expect the Manager to be proficient with building Distributed systems & have good knowledge on ML model building to help grow the engineers. We will have Software Development Engineers, Quality Assurance Engineers & Business Intelligence Engineers/Data Engineers reporting to him/her giving the complete functional unit Ownership. You work very closely with the Science team.
