Amazon's product catalog establishes and maintains the authoritative product identity that uniquely defines every product in Amazon's catalog, ensuring accurate mapping of Selling Partner listings to products, preventing identity defects that erode buyer trust, and guaranteeing defect-free fulfillment and supply chain operations. We are establishing a new team to own the end-to-end lifecycle of supply chain catalog data. We will tackle some of the most exciting challenges in catalog technology at massive scale: leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs) to validate supply chain catalog quality. This initiative directly impacts Amazon's bottom-line reducing operational costs for Selling Partners and Fulfillment Centers while driving revenue growth by enabling expanded selection. This is a greenfield opportunity with high visibility. We're seeking a Software Development Manager to lead the development of catalog primitives and drive its adoption across Supply Chain Systems. The ideal candidate thrives in ambiguous, high-scale environments and can drive cross-functional alignment across Amazon Fulfillment Technology and procurement stakeholders to deliver catalog data that is structured, governed, and optimized for operational use. You'll lead a diverse team of Senior, Intermediate, and Junior Software Development Engineers, partnering closely with Program and Product Management to define and execute strategic roadmaps that shape the future of Amazon's supply chain catalog data.
