You will own building the cost allocation platform to accurately reflect the actual economics of the Amazon transportation, globally. With the dynamic and the growing nature of the transportation business, we need an integrated solution to cost allocation to better inform operational and profit intelligence decisions. Allocation of transportation costs to the items shipped requires building algorithms that are far from trivial and involves deep tech acumen and business understanding. This data will affect the profitability computation for Amazon, to accurately charge businesses for their expenses, and impacts product selection. You will build highly scalable systems to compute cost of transportation for every item shipped by Amazon. These systems are the authority for ship cost computation in Amazon. You will work with economists to find right model and cost driver to build solutions and algorithms to allocate costs. Who we are?
