The Worblehat team is looking for a Software Development Engineer to join our mission-critical platform that automates operational compliance across Amazon's global fulfillment network. This unique role impacts millions through the Personnel Resource Manager (PRM) system, which automates eligibility verification and training policy compliance for over 1 million Associates across 2,000+ sites worldwide. Your code will directly protect associate safety by preventing non-compliant work assignments and enable intelligent workforce management decisions that keep Amazon's operations running smoothly. You'll work across the full technology stack—distributed Java microservices, serverless Lambda functions, and integrations with dozens of partner systems including Learning Management Systems, HR platforms, and workforce management tools. Your solutions will balance technical constraints with business requirements across Training, Planning, Scheduling, and Staffing domains. Strong operational excellence is essential: your deployments affect real-time workforce operations at thousands of sites simultaneously, making reliability and thoughtful risk management core to the role.
