We're expanding our team and looking for a collaborative Software Development Engineer to join the Alexa Artificial Intelligence (AI) team. Our team is seeking a skilled and thoughtful engineer to contribute to the development of industry-leading conversational assistant capabilities. In this role, you'll own and drive large-scale customer-facing features from conception to delivery and beyond. You'll have the opportunity to design, architect, and build innovative consumer products used daily by people in your community. Key job responsibilities We are looking for talented Software Development Engineers to build the next generation architecture for the core runtime Orchestration platform and enable new dimensions of customer experiences on Alexa. You will work with the engineering team which shapes core of Alexa engine, and builds capabilities that plays a major role in the evolution of industry-leading conversational assistance capabilities. Your time with us will be impactful, and your vision, creativeness and engineering output adopted by teams across Amazon and beyond. * Responsible for the development and maintenance of key platform services interfacing with large language models required for building conversational agents. * Work with other team members to investigate design approaches, prototype new technology and evaluate technical feasibility. * Work in an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver high quality software against tight schedules.
