Full Job Description

Alexa+ is Amazon's next-generation personal assistant powered by generative AI – more conversational, smarter, personalized, and built to get things done on any device. The Alexa 3P Experiences team is on a mission to expand what Alexa+ can do for customers by building consumer-facing experiences with trusted third-party partners like Uber, Ticketmaster, Yelp, and more. Using frontier AI technologies – including Large Language Models (LLMs), Model Context Protocol (MCP), and Agent-to-Agent (A2A) capabilities – we create agentic experiences that connect customers with an ever-expanding selection of services through natural conversation. As a Senior SDE on this team, you will lead the design and architecture of category-defining experiences and category-scaling SDKs – reusable frameworks that enable partners to build sophisticated experiences with minimal effort. You will take a long-term view of system architecture, drive engineering best practices, and make technical trade-offs that balance speed of delivery with scalability and operational excellence. You will mentor engineers, influence technical direction across the org, and work directly with product, design, and partner teams to shape how millions of customers discover and interact with 3P services on Alexa+.
