AWS Utility Computing (UC) provides product innovations — from foundational services such as Amazon’s Simple Storage Service (S3) and Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), to consistently released new product innovations that continue to set AWS’s services and features apart in the industry. As a member of the UC organization, you’ll support the development and management of Compute, Database, Storage, Internet of Things (Iot), Platform, and Productivity Apps services in AWS, including support for customers who require specialized security solutions for their cloud services. Build the storage backbone powering millions of databases worldwide. Join Aurora Storage's Fabric team to architect foundational systems that ensure excellence for Amazon's cloud-native database service used by customers globally. As an SDE on the Aurora Storage Fabric team, you'll design and build critical infrastructure that keeps Aurora running at scale—from intelligent volume placement and auto-scaling to health monitoring and storage repair systems. You'll work on challenging distributed systems problems that directly impact AWS customers' database reliability and performance. This role offers the opportunity to innovate on next-generation storage platforms while collaborating with senior technical leaders and principal engineers who are shaping the future of cloud databases.
