If so, the Under-The-Roof (UTR) Planning Tech team is looking for an experienced Software Development Engineer II with a strong record of achieving results to create solutions that solve our last mile’s most complex operational challenges. As a key member of our engineering team, you will have the opportunity to work across multiple problem spaces using AI, Machine Learning, and all of the internet's latest and greatest technologies. You will be responsible for engineering new features that will shape how fulfillment evolves here at Amazon, with the freedom to innovate, experiment, and drive meaningful impact at unprecedented scale. Key job responsibilities - Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable, high-performance software solutions for complex labor planning challenges - Translate business requirements into elegant technical designs that can scale with Amazon’s growth - Build and enhance services that optimize workforce allocation across fulfillment centers and delivery stations - Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and operations teams to define and build innovative solutions - Write high-quality, maintainable code with comprehensive test coverage - Participate in architecture discussions and help drive technical direction for the team - Contribute to operational excellence by di
