The Amazon Business Search team sits at the heart of that experience. We’re redefining how over 8 million B2B customers search, navigate, and discover products. As a Software Engineer in this team, you will design, build and maintain innovative Search features such as intelligent ranking algorithms, autocomplete, filters, and many more. You will work closely with Applied Scientists to bring LLM and agentic capabilities into Search such as a B2B-specific conversational experience. This is a unique opportunity to push the boundaries of search technology, improve relevance for millions of customers worldwide, and help shape the future of B2B commerce. Key job responsibilities As a Software Development Engineer, you will: - Own the full software development lifecycle, including design, implementation, testing, experimentation, and maintenance, ensuring high reliability and measurable customer impact. - Analyze success of new Search features through data-driven analysis of A/B experiments - Build and optimize data and model-serving pipelines to support high-throughput, low-latency applications across distributed systems. - Collaborate across Product, Software, and Science teams to shape best customer experience and deliver complex projects at scale. - Participate in the team's and organization's activities such organization plannings, design reviews, knowledge sharing, conferences, etc. - Mentor and guide junior peers on Software and AI technologies and best practices.
