Full Job Description

Amazon’s FinAuto RecTech (part of Finance Operations) builds technology that drive scale and efficiency for customers. We support 75+ Amazon businesses in 50+ countries and handle billions of transactions across the globe derived from billing, invoicing, collections, cash applications, and dispute management operations. We're seeking a Software Development Engineer to join our Accounts Receivable (AR) Pulse Engineering team. You will be instrumental in crafting the core infrastructure and tools that empower our engineering teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences. By developing scalable, reliable, and efficient platform features, you'll contribute to improving our customer collection effectiveness and reach, optimize or eliminate manual work, and simplify the number of ways and systems used to manage receivables across Amazon. Key job responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain core platform components and services. This includes defining high and low level design using the latest AWS technology for large distributed environments. Work closely with product and engineering teams to help define the architecture and deliver platform capabilities. Optimize existing platform features and services for performance, scalability, and reliability. Lead defining and implementing engineering best practices. Use data to define and improve operational excellence. Raise the bar on code quality, including security, readability, consistency, and maintainability. Foster a culture of innovation and collaboration. Proactively partner with other engineers to coach them and help them amplify their ideas. Train junior engineers to raise the bar in their work. About the team You will be joining the Pulse team within the Accounts Receivables (AR) Tech org. Pulse operates multiple multi-tenant platform services that are used across the AR domain.
