Full Job Description
Do you want to help lead the cloud revolution and build software that thrives at immense scale? AWS Elastic Load Balancing enables customers to build large scale highly available services. ELB automatically distributes incoming application traffic across multiple targets, such as Amazon EC2 instances, containers, IP addresses, and Lambda functions. ELB provides the entry point for building hyper scale, fault tolerant applications. While ELB has seen tremendous growth since launch we are still in the early stages of realizing our full potential. Why you should join the Amazon ELB team? We are building and launching new services and features on a regular basis. Application load balancer(ALB), Network load balancer(NLB), Gateway Load Balancer (GWLB) and Privatelink are a few examples. We ship software frequently, get fast feedback from real customers around the globe and see the results of our work come to fruition. The Amazon ELB service is deployed globally to over 30 regions today and is growing at an extremely rapid rate. There are real-world problems to solve that you won't find ready-made answers for. For example, how do you ensure customers can scale their application quickly to handle traffic spikes and then back down in a matter of minutes? How do you design a load balancing solution that allows customers to quickly and easily achieve the highest levels of fault tolerance using Amazon EC2? We are now designing and building the next generation of ELB services capable of handling terabytes of data per day and growing from there. This is a unique opportunity to help build large-scale systems from the ground up. ----------------------------- AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. In other words, we’re the people who keep the cloud running. We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access
