Customer Experience and Business Trends (CXBT) is looking for a scale-focused and customer-obsessed Software Development Engineer. As an SDE, you will be part of a team that adds new capabilities to our customers through core engineering and AI/ML methodologies. The solutions heavily leverage technology to challenge conventional wisdom with hard data. Our SDEs solve complex problems and get to see the impact of their work first-hand. In this role you will have the opportunity to exercise your creativity and explore ideas to simulate and quantify any aspect of the customer experience. Key job responsibilities - Design, develop, and maintain scalable software solutions for data collection and analysis platforms - Build and optimize automated data collection frameworks across different surfaces (web, mobile) - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and implement efficient solutions - Write high-quality, maintainable code while following best practices and design patterns - Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical documentation - Debug production issues and implement performance improvements - Work with ML technologies and LLM driven extraction services to enhance data processing capabilities - Contribute to architecture decisions and technical strategy - Mentor junior developers and participate in team's agile development process A day in the life You'll work closely with Product Managers, Data Scientists, and other engineers to build tools that enable large-scale data collection and analysis.
