You'll design and build scalable, high-performance systems that power our Address & Checkout services, solving complex technical challenges while directly improving the shopping experience at scale. Key job responsibilities - Design and develop full-stack solutions for Address & Checkout services, considering scalability, performance, and reliability across multi-tiered distributed systems - Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, design, and operations to understand customer needs and translate them into technical implementations - Investigate and optimize system performance, latency, and resource utilization through data-driven analysis and experimentation - Contribute to code quality and system testability by establishing best practices, conducting thorough code reviews, and identifying areas for improvement - Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, and participate actively in design and architecture discussions A day in the life As a Software Development Engineer on our team, you'll work on full-stack solutions that handle massive transaction volumes while maintaining lightning-fast response times.
