Amazon Keyspaces is a scalable, highly available, and managed Apache Cassandra–compatible database service. Amazon Keyspaces is serverless, so customers don’t have to provision, patch, or manage servers, and they don’t have to install, maintain, or operate software. Amazon Keyspaces leverages open-source Apache Cassandra software, which is used by enterprises around the world to meet the scale and operational needs of their business. With Amazon Keyspaces, our aim is to make Apache Cassandra highly accessible and easy to use, in order to further drive its adoption across all business tiers. Amazon Keyspaces engineers are constantly challenged to think of unique and innovative solutions. The quality bar is high. As an engineer here, you will work on the hardest engineering problems in distributed systems at a massive scale and on multiple dimensions. This is a hands-on position in which you will own everything from end to end: requirements gathering, designs, design reviews, implementations, code reviews, incremental feature launches, operations, mentoring, and the driving of continuous improvement.
