Manufacturing Software Systems (MSS) is seeking a Software Development Engineer who will help solve a variety of technical challenges related to manufacturing the satellites, ground equipment and associated ASICs. You will play an active role in translating business and functional requirements into concrete deliverables and build quick prototypes or proofs of concept in partnership with other technology leaders within the team. You will tackle challenging, novel situations and will have the opportunity to work with multiple technical teams spanning a variety of domains: software, hardware, networks, RF, embedded, real-time, distributed as well as industrial automation systems. You will design and develop the manufacturing software used to drive the assembly, calibration and test of satellite and ground systems as well as perform high-throughput ASIC/chip level provisioning and testing. You will collaborate with teams from manufacturing engineering, product engineering, and security engineering to identify requirements and design manufacturing software. You will design and develop the end-to-end system capabilities required for manufacturing orchestration across factory production lines.
