What They're Looking For.
Must Have
3+ years of professional experience in Java development, proficiency in Java 8+ and core Java concepts, Extensive experience with Spring Framework, particularly Spring Boot, Proven experience in RESTful API design and development, Solid understanding of API security best practices, Experience with version control systems (Git), Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases, problem-solving skills, attention to detail, Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Nice to Have
Experience with Spring Cloud for microservices architecture, Proficiency with AWS services integration (Lambda, API Gateway, S3, etc.), Experience with Docker containerization and orchestration, Knowledge of DynamoDB or other NoSQL databases, Familiarity with Mulesoft and Dataweave, Experience with API testing tools and methodologies, Understanding of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.), Experience with monitoring and logging tools (ELK stack, Prometheus, etc.), Knowledge of API documentation tools (Swagger/OpenAPI), Experience with payment gateway integration (e.g., Stripe, PayPal, Braintree) and secure transaction handling
