RESPEC is seeking an experienced Software Developer III to support one of our Texas state agency clients on a critical legacy modernization initiative. This role will be embedded with the agency's Division of Workers' Compensation (DWC) and will focus on migrating data and applications from a Natural/ADABAS environment to modern Oracle infrastructure, working as part of a collaborative Agile Scrum team. Responsibilities: * Assess user requirements and user stories, translating them into technical tasks and development scripts * Identify data elements in a Natural/ADABAS application and establish new table structures in Oracle 19c * Write and execute data migration scripts to move data to new tables * Support, patch, and upgrade Natural programming language, ADABAS database, and CONNX software * Develop Oracle database views for use in Tableau to support agency business intelligence needs * Collaborate closely with application architects, developers, and database administrators * Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives * Estimat
