The Appstore technology teams connect millions of customers to apps and content they love. We enable this on varied set of devices like Fire TV, Fire Tablets, and Automotive devices. We are looking for a Software Development Engineer to lead re-design of Dev portal and group of engineers (POD) to simplify workflow for 3P developers. They will lead the development of scalable software solutions and services for handling the DeX experience. Ideal candidate should be willing to work in designing scalable and low-latency systems, working across technologies. Our ideal candidate will have a deep well-rounded technical background in current software disciplines, mastery of software fundamentals, and be willing to effectively challenge technical system designs and drive engineering decisions to drive the right developer and customer experience, and an eagerness to learn new and evolving technologies. To be successful you'll need to have experience with Java or any other modern language, experience of Service Architectures, experience working with databases, experience handling scale. You need a strong grasp of architecture and advanced engineering principles and design patterns. You must be a fast, efficient coder and make coding and design decision with multiple simultaneous dimensions in mind. You will be part of technical leadership team of Amazon Appstore development center, India and will have the chance to lead the product architecture and team-building effort.
