The Concessions team enhances CS by developing sophisticated products for both customers and Customer Service Associates. These solutions enable seamless self-service and automation for customers, while allowing associates to effectively address issues through intuitive, human-centered design. The ideal candidate has experience designing large-scale systems supporting thousands of transactions per second, enjoys solving complex software problems, and should view every customer interaction as an opportunity to create an exceptional customer experience. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work directly with partner teams (World Wide Return and Recommerce, Amazon Business, Ordering, etc.), owning major deliverables across all aspects of development: scoping, design, implementation, and testing. Key job responsibilities As a Software Development Engineer, you will collaborate with a team of skilled engineers to design and develop low-latency solutions across the frontend, middle tier, and backend. You will evaluate and implement new technologies to address complex challenges, working with tools and platforms such as Java, DynamoDB, Lambda, and other AWS services. In this role, you will design and code solutions that drive efficiencies in software architecture while creating metrics, implementing automation, and addressing root causes of software defects.
