Must Have
12+ years of professional software development experience, significant experience in an Architect role, focus on embedded systems, focus on communication stacks, focus on Linux kernel drivers, define and evolve software architectures for complex embedded systems, making thoughtful trade-offs across performance, power, scalability, reliability, and maintainability, software architecture and design patterns, documenting and communicating architectures and designs, provide logical reasoning, lead technical conversations, building consensus around the best architectural and design choices, influencing across architects, engineering teams, and leadership, system-level thinking, HW/SW partitioning, designing software for complex SoCs, designing software for hardware accelerators, Wi-Fi protocols, other communication stacks, Linux kernel architecture, device drivers, upstreaming practices, C development, low-level debugging at system and driver layers
Nice to Have
Contributions to open-source projects (Linux kernel, networking stacks, etc.), Familiarity with real-time operating systems (RTOS) alongside Linux, Knowledge of security in embedded software, secure boot, cryptography, trusted execution environments, Agile/Scrum methodologies, experience collaborating in iterative development environments
