Must Have
Relevant qualifications or professional experience in Education, History, Museum Studies, or related field, 5-7 years in education sector, Experience in History and Social Studies, Experience developing resources/initiatives based on Character and Citizenship Education, Ability to develop and implement complex engagement strategies, Ability to evaluate effectiveness of engagement strategies, Ability to lead and manage programming teams, Ability to evaluate stakeholder interest, alignment, and influence, Ability to implement stakeholder engagement plans, Ability to exercise judgement to manage challenging stakeholders, Ability to coordinate various aspects of student visits, Interpersonal, communication, and written skills, Ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, Ability to navigate changes, multiple stakeholders, and fast-moving environment, Willingness to learn government tools and procurement guidelines, Prepared to exercise flexibility in work schedule
Nice to Have
In-depth understanding of Singapore education system, Experience managing/training facilitators to engage youth
What You'll Do.
Lead development of cohort learning journey
Design journey based on permanent exhibition content
Develop educational resources
Train Museum Educators
Engage schools to conduct pilots
Manage rollout to schools
Develop educational interpretive layer for special exhibitions
Develop accompanying education programmes
Oversee student leadership programmes
Oversee youth engagement initiatives
Manage end-to-end development and delivery of programmes
Drive strategic partnerships
Develop initiatives that engage students and youth
Engage and develop Museum Educators and docents
Equip facilitators with content and pedagogical skills
Conduct periodic reviews on training programme
Contribute to collecting and processing stories
Develop brief for student archivists
Train students to conduct interviews
Oversee video documentation of interviews
Build up Education team
Train and equip facilitators
Establish programmes and operational frameworks
Manage team overseeing day-to-day operations
Coordinate logistics for student visits
Evaluate effectiveness of programmes
