If you are excited about a role but don't meet every bullet point, we encourage you to apply and join us to create the extraordinary. ## ## Job Summary To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a**PCBA Process Engineer** located in**Austin, TX.** Reporting to the**Process Engineering Manager** the **PCBA Process Engineer** is in charge for process-engineering capabilities focused on cost, quality and delivery improvements in order to hold up a manufacturing organization. **What a typical day looks like:** * Develop and optimize SMT processes including printing, placement, reflow, AOI/SPI. * Troubleshoot defects and lead root cause and corrective action activities. * Support NPI builds, DFM reviews, and process validation. * Maintain process documentation and establish process controls (SPC, DOE). * Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to ensure stable line performance. * Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean/6σ tools. **The experience we’re looking to add to our team:** * Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field (or equivalent experience). * 2–5 years SMT process engineering experience. * Knowledge of SMT equipment and IPC standards (IPC A 610, J STD 001). * Strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills. * Experience with equipment such as ASM, DEK/MPM, BTU/Heller/Kurtz Ersa, Koh Young, Nordson. * Lean Six Sigma or IPC certification.
