Reporting to the Process Manager, this role is responsible for overseeing critical SMT processes, ensuring the proper execution of production plans, and leading technical activities to meet quality, cost, delivery, and continuous improvement objectives. ### **What a typical day looks like:** * Supervise and coordinate technical activities within SMT production processes. * Develop, implement, and optimize programs for DEK, SPI, Camalot, and Press Fit equipment. * Analyze and validate stencils; perform SPI debug and Pick & Place failure analysis. * Develop and validate reflow profiles, including instrumentation of profiling boards. * Create and maintain standard operating procedures, visual aids, and technical documentation. * Perform capacity analysis, calculate rates per station, and identify process bottlenecks. * Lead and document continuous improvement initiatives and Kaizen events. * Establish and manage manufacturing processes aligned with customer specifications. * Drive improvements focused on yield increase, scrap reduction, and cycle time optimization. * Troubleshoot issues related to PCB assembly processes. * Conduct CPK studies for solder paste processes and ensure process capability. * Design and develop tooling, jigs, and fixtures, and ensure proper implementation in production. * Ensure proper documentation and process validation according to customer and internal standards.
