Must occasionally lift and move parts and supplies, various weights., Required to have close visual acuity to perform activities for operation of machines, including visual inspection, using measurement and/or assembly of parts at distances close to the eyes., Required to work in a clean room, ESD safe environmental condition 90% of the time., Will be required to wear proper ESD and clean room attire., There is sufficient noise to cause the worker to increase volume to be heard above ambient noise level., Hearing protection will be provided if required.

What You'll Do.
Programming and maintenance of the SMT assembly line and any related equipment.
Perform all facets of surface mount assembly.
Primary responsibility for line operation including screen printer
pick and place machine
Automatic Optical Inspection machine
and ancillary SMT line equipment.
Operate the equipment
including understanding the sequence of events
and understanding how to replenish supplies and components per Standard Operating Procedures
Set-up of the equipment
and maintain operation
which includes machine adjustments and ability to perform set-up (feeder loading and changing) per the manufacturing instructions and Standard Operating Procedures
Ownership of general equipment cleaning and upkeep per the Standard Operating Procedures
Manual assembly of electronic components including some complex part installations
custom specs and quality standards.
Perform hand soldering
mixed assemblies and custom parts as per Engineering specifications and IPC workmanship standards.
Component preparation
Be able to work on various aspects of the manufacturing operations.

Job Summary: The SMT Operator will assist in the manufacturing of printed circuit boards, product assemblies, and report to the operations manager. This person will work with a small team to perform assembly of electronic components that includes preparation, placement and installation using a modern SMT line. Our line includes a Speedprint 710 stencil printer, Europlacer iiNEO+ pick and place machine, BTU reflow oven, and Omron 730 AOI machine.
