Must Have
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in computer science, Information Technology, cybersecurity, or related science or engineering field, Experience using AI in daily Cybersecurity support work to support the customers needs and rapidly identify threat levels and activity, Fifteen (15) years of technical expertise related to cyber engineering and cyberspace test and evaluation, 10 years’ experience in project management, Ten (10) years’ experience supporting the analysis, assessment, demonstration, testing, and/or experimentation of cyber capabilities, Demonstrated participation in the research, development, integration, and testing of innovative technologies for both offensive and defensive cyber, Ten (10) years’ experience evaluating and validating sensor system performance, effectiveness, and operational feasibility, Demonstrated experience in recommending assessments to determine system performance to risks, Must meet certification requirements per applicable DoD Directives and DoD Instructions, TS/SCI (SAP eligible) clearance

Description Data Systems Analysts, Inc. is seeking a SME III Technology Capabilities (Cybersecurity SME) to fill a critical Key Personnel role supporting the Office of the Under Secretary of War for Research and Engineering (OUSW(R&E)), specifically the Assistant Secretary of War for Mission Capabilities (ASW(MC)), The candidate provides senior-level cybersecurity leadership and technical expertise across enterprise IT environments, ensuring confidentiality, integrity, and availability of mission systems. Leads the design, implementation, and oversight of cybersecurity architectures, policies, and controls in compliance with DoD RMF, NIST 800‑53, CMMC, and applicable DoD cyber directives. Advises Government stakeholders on cyber risk management, threat mitigation, security engineering, and incident response, and provides technical direction to senior and journeyman cybersecurity staff.
