Must Have
Bachelor’s degree - life sciences major is required, 1-3 years of experience as an Account Executive, Field Application Scientist, Account Manager, Demonstrable history of consistently achieving or exceeding ambitious sales targets, Knowledge of the life sciences industry, including: R&D, and/or IT functions is required
Nice to Have
Sales Development Background highly appreciated

engaging multiple personas from scientists to C-suite
generating leads and move them through the sales cycle
Develop and maintain accurate sales forecasts
communicate the value of our platform
tailoring presentations and proposals
Running Benchling platform demonstrations
Lead negotiations with potential clients
addressing key stakeholders including multiple personas and CxO in the buyer journey
navigating organizational complexities
addressing objections
securing new business agreements
Work across multiple personas within an account
align Benchling’s solutions with their business objectives
Drive the sales process through Pipeline Generation (PG)
Command of the Message
Maintain account integrity and opportunity data within company Salesforce
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Partner with internal teams (marketing, product, customer success, etc) and Channel to ensure a seamless experience for clients and drive long-term customer satisfaction; committed to working in a collaborative environment, working together as a team
Communication Scope
Dynamic communication skills; versatility to connect effectively with a range of stakeholders, including scientists, team project leads and executives in industry
