Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair small gas-powered engines; Service hydraulic pumps and related components, identifying leaks, worn seals, and pressure issues

Eligibility Requirements

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, Stand for extended periods, Legal authorization to work in Canada with no restrictions

What They're Looking For.

Must Have

Previous experience in a warehouse, shop, or trades environment, Mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience with small engines and/or hydraulic systems, Comfortable using diagnostic tools, hand tools, and shop equipment, Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and email, Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods, Valid driver's licence

Nice to Have

Small engine repair certificate or related trades training, Forklift certification, Experience working in a construction or utility environment, Familiarity with electrical tool testing standards (e. g. , CSA, ESA), WHMIS and First Aid certification

What You'll Do.

Receive incoming shipments

Verify against packing slips

Maintain accurate inventory records

Prepare and package outgoing shipments

Organize and maintain warehouse storage

Operate forklifts safely

and tag electrical tools

Identify damaged or unsafe tools

Perform routine cleaning and lubrication

Perform minor repairs on power tools

Maintain records of tool service history

Diagnose and troubleshoot small engines

Repair small gas-powered engines

Service hydraulic pumps

Perform preventative maintenance

Source replacement parts

Coordinate with vendors
