**Brief Job Descriptio****n** This team focus on establishing innovative external partnerships to support the development of 2030 AZ ambition and strategy "access to China innovation", taking accountability to accelerate R&D asset landing in China from R&D to manufacturing and commercialization. 1) Explore the opportunities, design and execute the localization projects 2) Set up robust governance mechanism and lead x-functions/ x-companies’ collaborations to maintain strategic partnerships 3) Support new modality to achieve business goals. **Typical Accountabilities** * The core responsibility of this position is to design and execute localization projects to support the business growth. * Develop solid business case to get internal approval and external alignment on localization. Drive the approval of the project by leading cross-functional collaboration in AZ and with external key stakeholders to align key terms. * Manage the projects through an end-to-end approach. Including project set up, feasibility assessment, terms negotiations, business case approval, deal sign off and alliance management. * Build robust governance mechanism, Set joint steering committee, implement monitoring, drive resource allocation and risk management in all aspects from R&D, GA interactions, Ops collaborations etc. Make key decisions or escalation for management team’s discussion and alignment. * The role standing in China, will work globally, leading cross - functionals and global relevant functional teams. To regularly report and communicate with stakeholders more broadly, including X-functional management teams, Global functional heads, BD/Alliance heads etc **Education, Qualifications, Skills and Experience** * Minimum bachelor’s degree, Master / MBA / post-grad qualification are appreciated. * At least 10 years working exp. in Pharm with knowledge in Finance, Commercial or Operation areas. Strong business acumen in healthcare industry. Scientific background is a plus. * Resilience
