Full Job Description

Hospitals, hotels, schools, bridges, airports and more.** **Come build a career you believe in.** **About the Role** Reporting to the Plant Manager, the **Slitter Machine Operator** will be responsible for setting up and operating high-speed equipment with robotic elements to form or cut steel to specified dimensions and specifications. This role is perfect for someone who is detail-oriented, safety-focused, and thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. **Shift:** 3rd Shift - 7 PM to 5:30 AM **What You’ll Do** * Observes all safety and LOTO rules to operate equipment efficiently and effectively. * Performs advanced setup and calibration of all equipment. * Inspects materials for quality issues before, during, and after production. * Records and reports any deficiencies in quality to the supervisor/quality department. * Maintains equipment tooling and tools necessary for job completion. * Diagnoses equipment and quality problems while minimizing scrap and delays. * Completes reports related to production, changeovers, and scrap material. * Assists maintenance in repairs and preventive maintenance of equipment. * Participates in continuous improvement programs. * Performs housekeeping tasks to keep work areas clean and safe. * Performs other duties as assigned by management. **Who You Are** * Ability to read and write and maintain production records and logs. * Manufacturing or related industrial experience preferred. * Ability to perform basic math, including addition, subtraction, decimals, an
