## Accountabilities Develop, drive, and manage a robust cybersecurity sales pipeline across SLED accounts Identify, qualify, and close complex security opportunities while expanding existing customer relationships Serve as a trusted advisor to public sector clients, including engagement with senior and C-level stakeholders Collaborate closely with account managers to position cybersecurity solutions effectively within strategic pursuits Maintain strong awareness of competitor activity and market dynamics within assigned accounts Leverage consultative selling techniques to uncover customer needs and align appropriate security solutions Partner with internal teams and external ecosystem partners to execute coordinated sales strategies Support lead generation and ensure effective pipeline management through structured sales processes Contribute to forecasting accuracy and ensure disciplined sales execution across opportunities Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience 8–12+ years of enterprise sales experience, including 3–5+ years focused on cybersecurity solutions Proven experience selling into State, Local Government, or Education (SLED) environments preferred Strong understanding of cybersecurity technologies, competitive positioning, and market trends Demonstrated success in complex, consultative, and solution-based sales cycles Experience engaging and influencing senior stakeholders, including executive-level decision makers Familiarity with structured sales methodologies such as MEDDPICC Strong CRM proficiency (e.g., Salesforce) and disciplined pipeline management skills Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building capabilities Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced, and results-driven environment Benefits: Competitive base salary with performance-based on-target earnings Comprehensive health, dental, vision, and mental wellness coverage Flexible remote/telework arrangement supporting work-life balanc
