What You'll Achieve.

Industry & Context.
Ability to obtain and maintain a UK security clearance to minimum SC level, Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required - typically around 10%, Air gapped/highly restricted networks
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Ability to obtain and maintain a UK security clearance to minimum SC level, Bachelor’s degree in STEM field or equivalent engineering experience, Technical depth in one or more: DevSecOps, software engineering, infrastructure engineering, cloud infrastructure, Infrastructure as Code - Terraform, Cloud - AWS, Network security including TLS, PKI, firewalls, VLANs, Virtualisation technology such as VMWare or KVM/QEMU, Linux operating systems, scripting and automation tooling - particularly Ubuntu and RHEL, 5+ years of relevant engineering, infrastructure, or technical program execution experience, Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required - typically around 10%, Experience with secure systems engineering, ideally within UK Government or Defence
Nice to Have
Experience designing or maintaining distributed systems, secure networks, or infrastructure supporting autonomy, AI/ML, or big data workloads, Demonstrated ability to work across technical disciplines, influence without authority, and operate in ambiguous and fast-paced environments, Experience working with international partners or navigating multi-nation technical or policy workflows, Experience with physical hardware - including rack mounted storage, compute and networking, Network cryptography and VPN solutions - both software and accelerated/dedicated hardware, Hardening standards such as FIPS, STIG and CIS, Compliance standards such as ISO, NIST, Secure by Design, Air gapped/highly restricted networks
