Full Job Description

As a Site Procurement Manager for the Amazon Fulfillment Center team, you will serve as the bridge between centralized Procurement and the building leadership. You will own the site’s indirect procurement operation responsibilities at a site level, including vendor management of 3rd party service providers, purchase order management, and inventory management. You will lead supplier management KPI and metrics reporting, and work with stakeholders to find and understand deviation and improvement areas. You will provide procurement leadership and align with the building leadership team to drive efficiencies and improvements at the site(s). Key job responsibilities • Provide procurement operations support for fulfillment centers, including managing suppliers (goods and services), non-inventory labor, flow and space models, cycle counts, inventory management, and procurement transactions. • Ensure compliance with organizational KPIs, working with the non-inventory team to measure, control, and benchmark procurement processes. • Develop expertise in non-inventory items and collaborate with similar buildings to implement best practices. • Build relationships across the network, ensuring the sharing and implementation of best practices. This includes training teams such as Operations, Loss Prevention, PXT, Transportation, Facilities Management, and Safety on procurement processes. • Work with internal teams, Finance, and Procurement Operations to understand budgetary targets and establish methods for measuring savings, value, and category metrics. • Assist Finance and internal teams in determining budgets and managing blanket POs. • Monitor supplier performance using tools such as supplier scorecards and Global Audit Tools for 3P suppliers. Collaborate with Category and Global Supplier Management to drive improvements across categories like janitorial, food service, pest control, landscaping, snow removal, water coolers, PPE, and waste management. • Ensure 3P suppliers comp
