Amazon is seeking a number of Site Process Experts to work in the EU Process Excellence (EUSC PE) team. The Site Process Expert is a Field onsite position and will need to adapt to local shifts requirement, depending on Operations need. The roles will be based in one of our Sortation Centres (SC) across the UK, Germany, Spain, Italy and France. The EU PE team is a group of operational leaders driving process stabilization, standardization and continuous improvement for the EU SC network. This team is essential to establish best in class process performance across all different direct and indirect processes, accelerate implementation of technological advancements and to strengthen the technical acumen and process knowledge for the operational leaders across the SC network. EU PE ensures the operations teams are equipped with the functional expertise to successfully deliver expected gains for technology advances and network wide process improvements. The team drives process control and shifting mean performance with the outcome of minimizing variation between shifts, building and region, to deliver strong performance. The team works closely with Core Process Experts (CPE), Change Managers (CM), Operations, Ops Excellence, Program teams, Engineering and reliability and maintenance (RME) teams to improve the input metrics for each of the process paths by prioritizing and channeling resources. The Site Process Expert works alongside with the SC Senior Leadership Team, while keeping high collaboration with EU PE functions. This role is responsible to deploy initiatives, build networking and relationship in the SC and drive compliance for the initiatives within an assigned timeline. The Site Process Expert initiates and implements EU wide improvement activities. This role requires the ability to demonstrate ownership for initiatives, understand the initiatives in details, and influence to deliver meaningful results translating to tangible productivity and efficiency gains
