What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Master’s degree (or equivalent), Minimum 15 years’ HSE experience, At least 5 years at management level, Minimum 5 years on large greenfield projects, LNG liquefaction experience, Written and verbal English required
Nice to Have
Advanced degree preferred, Recognised professional HSE qualifications preferred, Portuguese or French advantageous

Full Job Description
Our client is a global multi-energy company operating large-scale refining and petrochemical facilities. It transforms crude oil into fuels and essential industrial products through highly integrated and technologically advanced operations. The organisation is recognized for its strong HSE culture, operational excellence, and commitment to reducing environmental impact. Joining the company means contributing to complex international projects within a high-performance industrial environment. Join one of the world's largest LNG developments, the Mozambique LNG Project. A world-class onshore LNG project located at the Afungi site in Northern Mozambique. This is a senior leadership role with full operational ownership of Health, Safety, Environment and Emergency Response across one of the most significant energy developments currently under construction. Reporting into the site leadership team, you will be a key member of the Site Emergency Management Team and play a central role in delivering the onshore facilities safely through construction and into operations. • Accountable for the safe delivery of the onshore facilities through the construction phase and handover to operations, in line with the approved schedule and cost. • Coordinate across departments to ensure safe, on-time execution and delivery of a fit-for-purpose facility. • Champion a strong HSE culture across the Company and EPC Contractor teams, leading by example to inspire safety commitment and drive behavioural change. • Ensure compliance with all relevant HSE requirements across site works to maintain a healthy and safe working environment. • Provide operational oversight of HSE, Emergency Response, Environment and Health functions across the site. • Support the Site Director in overall site management and act as a key member of the Site Emergency Management Team. • Promptly notify site leadership of accidents and incidents in line with company procedures, and participate in incident investigations as
