What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Master’s degree (or equivalent), Minimum 15 years’ HSE experience, At least 5 years at management level, Minimum 5 years on large greenfield projects, LNG liquefaction experience, Written and verbal English required
Nice to Have
Advanced degree preferred, Recognised professional HSE qualifications preferred, Portuguese or French advantageous
What You'll Do.
Ensure safe delivery of onshore facilities
Coordinate across departments for safe execution
Ensure compliance with HSE requirements
Provide operational oversight of HSE functions
Provide operational oversight of Emergency Response functions
Provide operational oversight of Environment functions
Provide operational oversight of Health functions
Support Site Director in site management
Act as member of Site Emergency Management Team
Notify site leadership of accidents and incidents
Participate in incident investigations
Foster professional development
Maintain understanding of HSE risks
Maintain understanding of control measures
Promote company safety standards
Promote Stop Work Authority
Prepare HSE improvement plans
Maintain HSE improvement plans
Record unsafe conditions
Track corrective actions
Track preventive actions
Conduct inspections of contractor work locations
Review company procedures
Review contractor procedures
Verify contractor operations
Oversee monitoring of contractor HSSE performance
Oversee reporting of contractor HSSE performance
Drive continuous improvement
Ensure mandatory training completion
Ensure periodic review of incidents
