Must Have
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field, Superior Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel, are required, Working knowledge of financial internal control processes, Must have good communication skills and be able to discuss and explain financial transactions and processes in a clear and concise way to individuals across the organization, organizational and time management skills, analytical and problem solving ability
Nice to Have
financial experience in a manufacturing environment, Chemical industries experience a plus, knowledge of other modules also a plus
What You'll Do.
Provide necessary assistance during the monthly close process
review and file monthly Sales & Use tax payments
Support property tax accounting functions
Support capital projects accounting
Support government surveys
Support Product Line analysis/reporting
Support preparation of latest earnings estimate (Group Financial Outlook)
Support annual performance plan (budget) for the Site
Understand the cost allocation process within SAP
Assist with external and internal audits
Review the business unit balance sheet monthly
Develop educational material to promote financial and SAP knowledge
Provide oversight and support to the business unit delegation of authority and internal control environment
Prepare ad-hoc reports as required
