What They're Looking For.
Must Have
PMP certification, ITIL v4 Foundation certification, CCNA Certified, 10 years proven experience working upon NATO, defence, military, or other high-security project delivery, 10 years proven experience NATO experience in IT service delivery, implementation engineering, in Mission support environments, 10 years proven experience with NATO Incident, Change, Problem, Request, and Configuration Management processes in Mission support environments, 10 years demonstrated experience in team leadership, mentoring, and technical supervision in NATO Mission environments, 5 years proven experience with Windows Server administration and enterprise infrastructure support, 5 years proven experience with VMware virtualization deployment and troubleshooting, 5 years proven experience in network/system security and secure communications, 5 years proven experience in Voice and Video communications, 5 years proven experience with cryptographic systems, COMSEC, or secure communication platforms, 5 years proven experience with firewall and boundary protection services, 5 years proven experience with NATO Core Services and Functional Service Applications, 5 years proven experience with Microsoft technologies including Active Directory, Group Policy, Exchange Server, and SharePoint, 5 years proven experience administering SQL Server and System Centre Configuration Manager (SCCM), In depth practical understanding of NATO Command structures, roles, and organisational context, In depth practical Knowledge of NATO Enterprise Architecture and DCIS service and systems supporting the Mission, covering OSI Layers 1-7
Nice to Have
Certification with Windows Server administration and Windows desktop environment, Certification with VMware virtualization, Certification in network/system security and secure communications systems, Certification in Voice and Video communications systems, Certification with cryptographic systems, COMSEC, or secure communication platforms, Certification with NATO Functional Service Applications
What You'll Do.
Own end-to-end service performance
Monitor engineering compliance
Analyse performance trends
Drive corrective actions
Lead monthly and quarterly service reviews
Act as primary on-site point of contact
Establish and maintain effective working relationships
Manage customer expectations
Provide proactive communication
Apply holistic knowledge of NATO Enterprise Architecture
Liaise with technical service owners
Translate technical information into deliverables
Support onboarding of new services
Coordinate customer-facing communication
Coordinate incident recovery
Oversee impact of changes on service levels
Produce monthly Engineering Performance Reports
Maintain and drive a Service Improvement Plan
Identify opportunities for service improvements
Propose and track corrective actions
Monitor trends and recurring issues
