Must Have

Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, minimum 8 years of experience in design, site supervision, and construction management of utilities work, A minimum of 2 years of proven experience managing supervision activities on large-scale infrastructure projects within Abu Dhabi, Must be fully computer literate and able to utilize computer technology to access data, maintain records, generate reports, etc. and any project specific engineering and construction relevant software, Must be fluent in English written and spoken with an excellent capability in written technical skills as well as oral and written communication skills, Must be available in UAE, Prior experience in coordinating with multiple authorities (TAQA, ADM, Etisalat, DU, MCC, etc.)

What You'll Do.

Supervise and inspect the construction of roads

wet and dry utilities (water

and ITS works) to ensure compliance with approved drawings

and other relevant standards in Abu Dhabi.

Monitor the Contractor’s work for adherence to approved method statements

and safety procedures.

Review and comment on shop drawings

and as-built drawings for utilities works.

Witness and verify utility testing and commissioning activities

ensuring conformity to standards.

Identify and report non-conformances

ensuring corrective actions are implemented by the Contractor.

and other authorities to secure necessary NOCs

Liaise with Contractor’s supervisory staff to review work sequences

and conflict resolution measures.

Monitor and report on Contractor’s manpower

and resource allocation for utilities works.

Proactively identify potential conflicts in utility corridors and recommend mitigation measures.

Resolve site issues in coordination with the Resident Engineer and relevant authorities.

Keep necessary records and as-built records and take charge of the handing over of the utility works to the respective service authorities and assist the contractor to obtain necessary final clearance.
