Job Description Job Title: Site Engineer. The Site Engineer possesses the responsibility to work and coordinate directly with the site Civil and Structure Contractors for maintaining productivity at the site. The Site Engineer’s role is to problem solve and coordinate between the main contractor and other work streams including vendors and suppliers. The Site Engineer is the conduit for coordinating materials such as Scheduling reinforcement, coordinating with RMC plants, ensuring the contractors are working from the latest drawings, and ensuring the concrete casting and to ensure the concrete casting methodology is suitable for the size of slab casting. The Site Engineers job description shall include but is not limited to, the following. 1\. Co-ordinate with the concerned contractors to solve issues relating to progress, access, interface and completion dates as well as the other construction issues. 2\. Ensure that the works are constructed in line with the current construction plan via the planning and procurement managers. 3\. Ensure that all material requirements are passed onto purchasing in a timely manner ensuring that progress is not affected. 4\. Ensure that all staff under your control is aware of the current methods, standards and procedures required to be used on the works.
