What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Minimum of 3 years of expertise in the power utilities, renewable energy, or large scale construction industry, Licensed Electrical Engineer, Proficiency in construction methodologies and techniques, Familiarity with industry-relevant software, Knowledgeable in solar PV construction works including related testing & commissioning methodology and requirements for each equipment, Knowledgeable in MV and HV substation construction works including related testing & commissioning methodology and requirements for each equipment, understanding of electrical engineering standards, codes, and regulations, Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills, Ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure and adapt to changing priorities
Nice to Have
Experience in ground mounted solar power plant rolling terrain is an added advantage, Basic Occupational Safety and Health (BOSH) and Construction Occupational Safety and Health (COSH) certifications an added advantage

The Site Electrical Engineer is responsible for managing all electrical engineering aspects of the project, including electrical equipment installation works for PV, LV, MV, and HV system, and testing & commissioning, ensuring that construction activities align with design specifications, safety regulations, and project timelines. 1.
