knowledge and practical experience with SIMIO and SIEMENS, knowledge and practical experience in Manufacturing Operation Patterns, knowledge and practical experience in estimating production volumes and efficiencies, knowledge and practical experience with Operational Equipment Efficiency (OEE) concepts, knowledge and practical experience with statistical analyses (descriptive, inferential), knowledge and practical experience with 2D CAD, knowledge and practical experience in MS Excel, Macro development (VBA, C#), knowledge and practical experience in MySQL or similar, knowledge and practical experience in Python, knowledge and practical experience with Design of Experiments (DOE), English language (fluent speaking/writing/reading)

Validating and analyzing production processes
Building Static and Dynamic Simulation models to increase throughput
and estimate adequate resource requirements
Building Static and Dynamic Simulation models with focus on throughput improvement
Building Static and Dynamic Simulation models with focus on under-the-roof material flow
Building process charts to represent man-machine/process sequences (Cycle Time Charts - CTCs)
Troubleshooting complex situations involving multiple variables and conditions
Conducting statistical analysis of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Building and analyzing what-if scenarios with focus in KPI improvement
Making technical assumptions and offering alternative approaches within a framework of customary practices
Collecting data (on-site/off-site) to build
calibrate and validate models
Making data-driven recommendations related to cost-benefit matters regarding scenarios analyzed
Managing project data and meta-data
including procurement
and dealing with unclear/incomplete information
Mitigating errors or mistakes as soon as identified

The Simulation Engineer is knowledgeable about Discrete-Event/Agent-Based Simulation modeling and analysis, automotive production environment, materials management, and statistical analysis.
